Two Victims Suspected of H1N1 Case in Dhi Qar, Iraq
(IraqiNew.com) On Saturday, the Department of Health in Dhi Qar Province announced that, the first two suspected H1N1 cases have been registered.
The Associate Director of Health of Dhi Qar, Adnan al-Masharfawi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Hospitals in the province have recently received two suspected H1N1 flu virus cases, one of them is from the Iraqi Army,” indicating that, “The diseased left the hospital after receiving treatment and his condition is not stable.”
Al-Masharfawi added, “Blood samples were taken from both cases and sent to the central laboratories of the Ministry of Health.”
